Job Description: The plant engineer is responsible for all engineering and environmental projects. Will be involved with keeping up with waste water treatment standards. A demanding market and heavy industry metal producing equipment for our Casting, Rolling, Annealing, Cleaning and Slitting operations require a person for this position who is able to create promt solutions for upcoming engineering projects in an imaginative hands on approach. This person knows how to involve machine operators as well as other colleagues in ongoing projects and works effectively with outside contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Education Required: 4-year engineering degree in a mechanical, industrial or related engineering discipline.
Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years in a plant engineering position within a manufacturing setting. ' Solid knowledge of environmental regulations and requirements. ' Solid knowledge of industry codes and regulations. ' 2 years of leadership experience managing technical staff. ' Proven success in managing projects through all phases, from planning to record keeping. ' Excellent communication, planning and organization skills. ' Proficient computer skills, especially AutoCAD.
