Job Description: Kelly Engineering is searching for Mechanical Designers within the Appleton, WI market., Summary:, Mechanical Designer - Produces custom structural/mechanical designs and drafts for hydraulic machinery and equipment pursuant to company products. Generates final design details of finished products as well as preliminary concept drawings for sales purposes. Participates in R&D projects for new product development as well as existing product improvements., The individual will assume responsibility of the designed system during production as well as completed performance and functionality. Ability to perform and understand FEA Finite Element Analysis tests and data will be required. This position will at times require equal time in the manufacturing plant as well as the office. Additionally, the individual participates in department activities to design new products features, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures. Resolves problems using solutions that involve new techniques, technologies, or concepts. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with SolidWorks CAD software.
