Job Description: General Summary, Maximizing total hotel revenue is the focus of the Sales Manager position. The Sales Manager will utilize guidelines to maximize revenues for the hotel during all months of the year. Manager will be responsible for securing new group business and accounts appropriate and for achieving all individual revenue goals established. Manager must maintain a thorough understanding of the competitor hotels and conditions in the market place. It is the Sales Manager's role to represent the hotel to the outside business community to include industry associations and organizations., Essential Functions, Candidate will perform routine sales functions, including: preparing and negotiating contracts; conducting site tours; traveling; attending tradeshows, entertaining, designing and implementing sales action plans; creating and implementing promotions; maintaining business contacts; and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
