Job Description: Our busy manufacturing client will consider Direct Hire and Temp/Hire candidates! The current Payroll Administrator is retiring! They have 3 locations with a total of 400 employees and the Payroll Administrator can work out of the Neenah location or Two Rivers! 5 years of direct payroll experience + Ceridian software experience are required., CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:, Maintain, process and submit two bi-weekly payrolls, which consist of one union factory and one office cycles, employee incentive programs, management bonus programs, and retire-deferred compensation. Responsible for Ceridian new hire, termination, and transfer processes. Maintain all job benefit changes in Ceridian for each employee. Overall, review and verify benefits, compensation, deductions, and wage assignments to ensure deductions or withholdings associated with each employee are complete and accurate. Reconcile discrepancies. Prepare Unemployment documents. Adjust year-to-date benefit deductions of employees who have missed premium payments. Reconciliation of all payroll related accounts and various payments relating to 401(k,) Cigna Insurance Self-Bill, flexible spending, United Way, and the Union Local 1349. Reconcile bi-weekly and quarterly reports, Wage and Tax, W2 Management, and Ceridian Tax Reporting for a clean year-end., Perform Ceridian year end functions to include W-2 distribution., Perform Ceridian New Year functions to include setting up benefits and establishing the payroll calendar., Participate in Ceridian System upgrade and/or conversion projects., Comply with all legislative reporting through the outsourced payroll provider. General understanding for reviewing forms associated with federal, state and local authorities is required., Keep abreast of any payroll, benefit, and tax legislative changes that impact payroll. Write procedures for processes that enable Company to receive tax credits. Perform procedures and verify tax credits are received (ARRA and HIRE Act Credits)., For 401(k) Plan, prepare supporting data for year-end nondiscrimination testing. Receive benefit enrollment forms from Human Resources and performs the enrollment process in Ceridian. Audits for deduction accuracy. Prorate premiums applicable to new enrollees and terminations., Assist with Benefit Statement preparation by reviewing accuracy of benefit, payroll, and tax data. Update and verify vacation lists to reflect correct eligible vacation hours/dollars. Assist the auditors in the preparation and submittal of annual 5500 forms for benefit plans., Assist the CFO and HR with projects, Maintain confidentiality of all information. Possess patience and excellent communication skills to address concerns or issues of employees at all levels., Other duties as required.
