Work Schedule:
Week 1 = Monday-Friday, 4pm-midnight.
Week 2 = Tuesday-Friday, 4pm-midnight and Saturday, 2pm-10pm.
May work additional hours during the NFL season for Packer game routes, including Sundays.

Residency within the Green Bay corporate City limits is required within one year of hire.

Job Description: The City of Green Transit Department is seeking a Fueler/Service Worker to perform general end of day servicing, routine cleaning and safety checks of Transit Department vehicles, and routine cleaning of buses., The ideal candidate will possess teamwork abilities and strong attention to detail.

Base Pay: $18.08/hour plus an excellent benefits package.
Education Required: Minimum Qualifications Required: 1.High school diploma or equivalent., 2.One year related experience., 3.Must possess a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record and the ability to obtain a Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement within six months of hire., A combination of equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.
Experience Required: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: General mechanical knowledge to include knowledge of the basic practices used in servicing, lubricating, and making common adjustments to automotive type equipment. Knowledge of the tools (hand and power) common to mechanical repair. Ability to operate buses for maintenance. Ability to perform routine, repetitive, mechanical repairs and adjustments on transit vehicles. Ability to follow directions. Ability to read and understand service manuals, work defect cards, etc. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public. Ability to work the required hours of the position., May be required to demonstrate minimum competency by successfully passing approved tests.
