Job Description: • Operate the unitizing equipment and prepare pallets for shipment., o Read factory tickets to learn the customer required pallet packaging requirements., Apply the specified number and placement of banding wraps, corner boards, and shrink-wrap to the pallets for safe transport., • Correct the quantity on the pallet label and ERP system of the last pallet of each order to account for over/under run amounts., o Use necessary measuring devises to get as accurate as possible for all pallet quantities., • Deliver packaged pallets to the shipping area, • Review the pallet counts with the customers desired pallet counts and over/under run tolerances., o Inform laminator/converting operator staff with any under-run quantities so they can complete the order at next available opportunity., o Remove any over-run from the pallets that are least impactful to the customer. • Hand-band any pallets that will not pass through the unitizing equipment, • Support as needed the tow-motor, shipping and baling positions., - Complete General Laborer tasks including packing orders, hand stacking and filling in on other various equipment as needed.
