Job Description: Responsible for handling accounts with patient responsible balances. Actions include assessment of accounts, timely resolution, implementation of policy approved financial arrangements, and/or forwarding of accounts to collection agency. Essential Functions:, Must be adept at assessing patient accounts. Promote and carry out timely resolution of accounts. Demonstrate effective decision making skills in dealing with patients to resolve balances. Demonstrate a full working knowledge of collection module. Adherence to established policies and procedures. Respect and maintain confidentiality. Work in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times. Secondary Functions:, Must process accounts per site direction. Timely handling of correspondence. Identify and communicate trends. Support the Customer Service phone hunt as needed. Participate in various projects as assigned.

Experience Required: Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:, Prior account collection experience preferred. Two to three years of customer service experience. Computer and keyboard skills required.
