Job Description: The Office of Residence Life has a vacant University Services Associate 2 position and the announcement for this position will be posted in early December on www.uwgb.edu/hr/jobs after the November exam results are available. Application materials will be accepted at that time., To be eligible to apply for this position, you will need a current Office Support score. You must have taken the Office Support exam within the last year. Your civil service score must 70 or higher at the appropriate level of the vacancy (entry, intermediate, or advanced) and you must apply within 1 year of your exam date. If you do not have an active Office Support score or if your score will expire before December, you will need to take the State Civil Service exam for Office Support in November. The State Civil Service exam will take place on November 10, 2012. Pre-registration for this exam is required. Pre-registration will begin Friday, October 19th. The deadline for pre-registration is Wednesday, October 31st. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: a) managing information desk and student mailroom services; b) overseeing building and room access systems; and c) providing administrative support. This position reports to the Associate Director; and assumes additional responsibilities assigned by and makes recommendations to the Director.
