Job Description: Responsibilities: • Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information. • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Perform corrections as needed. • Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, within the accounting software. • Operate 10-key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents. • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations. • Code documents according to company procedures. • Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records. • Match order forms with invoices, and record the necessary information. • Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence. • Calculate, prepare, and issue invoices according to established procedures. • Maintain accuracy of all purchase orders, control accounts that are exceeding acceptable limits. • Communicate daily with multiple departments-establish strong relationships to gain support and efficiently achieve results. • Other duties as assigned., Qualifications: • Associates Degree required in related field, • One to two years’ experience preferred, • Ability to establish priorities, • Foresight to know when to seek assistance, • Ability to take directives from a variety of people and departments, • Independent judgment and decision making skills, • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, • Verbal Comprehension (Understand oral and written communications – both general and technical), • Discretion when working with sensitive and confidential information., • Communication skills (provide clear instructions/directions), • Reasoning Skills (problem solving and troubleshooting skills), • Basic PC skills required, strong skills in Excel, proficiency with 10-Key and Microsoft Office
