Job Description: This full time position is responsible for care and efficient operation of the city sewage treatment plant through performance of a variety of skilled and technical work in operating, maintaining, repairing, recording sewage plant operations on an assigned shift. Work includes covering a large working area which contains several operating units of the sewage treatment plant during assigned rotating shifts. Requirements include: State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Advanced General Certification plus 1 advanced subclass; and valid driver’s license; and Associates degree in Water, Wastewater, or related field; or High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in Water, Wastewater or related field.
