Job Description: Shawano County Department of Social Services is seeking to fill vacant positions, Within the Children & Families Unit and Long Term Support Unit. These positions, Require case management, report writing, court testimony, service coordination, And treatment planning for clients and their families. Social Worker position, In Children and Families Unit is also required to be part of an after-hours intake rotation., Requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree and eligibility to be certified in the state of Wisconsin, As a Social Worker. Employees need the ability to plan, prioritize time and activities to, Accomplish program objectives; ability to prepare and maintain meaningful, accurate and up-to-date records and reports;, Ability to acquire a good working knowledge of laws, regulations and practices pertaining to various programs, And services; ability to work with moderate supervision; ability to follow written or oral instructions. These, Positions require possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Functional screen, Training in Long Term Support preferred for LTS Social Worker position.
