Job Description: Conduct and supervise inspections of inbound inspections and finished goods., Assist in implementation, communication, and maintain the quality plan in place., Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products., Effectively interact with Process Documentation team to assure accuracy of work instructions., Facilitate first article inspections of new parts and units with Engineering and Purchasing interaction., Conduct inspections of hold basket and re-tag held parts for re-work, scrap, or vendor return., Schedule and review re-work with manufacturing specialists or other specified personnel., Issue CAR’s to supply base as required. Maintain and manage quality issue log with internal support team to assure closure of issue with approved corrective action., Maintain and manage daily defect log from each production area. Create and monitor quality metrics. Communicate information with all areas., Supervision of test department. Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated., Work closely with technical services to assist with the closure field quality issues.

Education Required: Bachelors degree in Business and/or Associate degree in Quality or equivalent work experience, plus
Experience Required: 4+ years experience of Quality and Manufacturing (equipment manufacturing preferred), plus, Working knowledge of quality measuring tools, devices and procedures., Comprehension of specification drawings., Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication, Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Inventory Management systems., 2 year supervisory experience required., Ability to organize workflow., Ability to work overtime as required., Ability to work in a team environment.
