Job Description: Department: Engineering, Category: Full-Time / Non-Exempt, Position Description:, Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, responsible for the research and development of all technical literature associated with Magnum Power Products equipment. Primary Responsibilities:, Technical Design and Publications:, • Research, create, illustrate, and update operator’s manuals, parts manuals, field kits, parts and service bulletins, and any other required instructions for all Magnum equipment, • Assist Sales and Marketing with line art or special instructions as needed, • Maintain electronic file of all product literature, Products Labels:, • Design and produce first build prototype and pre-production decals for new products, • Provide technical input and design ideas to Engineering during new production initiation, • Support Engineering with testing of decal materials and product, • Support Manufacturing with labeling procedures and work documentation, • Alter new and existing designs as needed to improve fit and function, • Maintain information regarding tests and prototype builds, Additional Responsibilities:, • Practice safe work habits, following safety guidelines and support company safety initiatives, • Provide technical materials for Magnum web site, • Work with prototyping and line assembly in the assembly of equipment to determine proper illustrations and instructions.
