Job Description: Performs full range of mechanical maintenance and repair on all Park Department equipment including trucks, hi-rangers, amusement rides, stump grinders, brush chippers, tractors, lawn mowers, and power tools. Performs welding, services fuel injection, fuel pumps and filters. Performs general maintenance such as lubrication, changing tires, checking/changing fluids, hoses, belts, filters, fans. Performs complete overhaul of engines/machines, inspects and diagnoses problems, making necessary repairs, fills out daily reports and repair orders, makes/keeps necessary records.

Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent., Satisfactory completion of one year technical training in mechanics.
