Job Description: Angelus Village is a new and exciting assisted living facility that will be opening in July 2012. Currently we are accepting applications for a full time social events coordinator (activities coordinator) to join our team. This person will develop, implement and coordinate resident-centered activity programs including community programs. Other duties will include transporting residents to shopping events and external social events while driving the Angelus community bus, coordinating volunteer programs, working within a budget, and other related duties. The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy working with active seniors, and be willing to communicate and listen to residents to determine their activity preferences. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and the capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities. Considerable initiative, judgment and leadership skills are required values. Must be flexible with work schedule. Previous work-related experience preferred.
