Job Description: Jones Sign Inc. is searching for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our custom manufacturing operations. The selected applicant will join an already successful management team and enjoy outstanding salary and benefits. SUMMARY •Instructs and assists Area Leads and production employees in the proper methods and use of equipment to attain schedules. •Ensures uninterrupted quality and production by employing a wide range of skills and techniques to the completion of finished product. •Assists Area Leads in balancing manpower daily to attain the most efficient production. •Develops staffing requirements and assigns jobs on a daily basis, •Assists and trains an efficient work force in accordance with skills required. •Maintains close surveillance over operations throughout the day to ensure proper material flow, manpower, equipment usage, and material planning. •Ensures all materials are on-hand to meet production requirements. •Administers processes and policies to control cost, safety, quality, productivity, and delivery., •Communicates any and all information pertinent to the overall operations to the Operations Manager. •Communicates with all areas of manufacturing to ensure good customer-supplier relations. •Attends daily production meetings, presents, and contributes all pertinent information. •Prepare and conduct annual reviews for employee, •Provide input on capital expenditures to improve efficiencies, •Forward design changes to the appropriate personnel so that drawings accurately reflect production techniques, SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES •Manages all assigned Area Leads who are directly responsible for front line operations, and leadership within the areas of assigned responsibilities. •Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. •Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
